The city park

the merchant Saturgüs founded a park in rococo style at the place of a big garden. Besides the sculptures, fountains, paths and pavilions the park had a little museum of nature. I. Kant was a curator there in 1766, and in 1784 this little museum had served as a basis for creating the zoological museum. In 1803 the garden was damaged in fire, but some buildings have remained.
