Boxing federation of the Kaliningrad region

The federation was founded to decrease the crime level and drug addiction among young people; popularization of healthy life- style; the use of boxing for social adaptation of orphans and children from disadvantaged families; for improving sport infrastructure and for building new sport installations; for attracting facilities for health care and sport. The federation organizes dozens of sport events per year, including international tournament “Amber gloves” and “The Kaliningrad’s mayor cup”, successfully participates in different competitions including international ones. The president of the federation is Andrei Korobkov, who is also the vice- president of Russian boxing federation.
