Raisa Kuchko

I’m an ordinary Russian citizen; I have higher education and was a designer for 30 years. Now I’m retired. I’m a happy person because I have a favourite job. I was looking for and have found my own non-traditional methods and ways of self-expression in such kind of art as embroidery in satin-stitch. There are hundreds of delicate miniatures and large compositions in my apartment, which seem to be painted in oils from a distance, but instead of paints I use many-coloured silk threads. This is my palette.
