Renaissance

The quartet “Renaissance” was founded in 1992 in Kaliningrad. Its repertoire consists of compositions belonging to authors of the European and Russian Renaissance and works of sacred music of composers of other epochs. The ensemble plays instrumental and vocal-instrumental music and consists of four members: Victoria Serebryanskaya, Elena Uryupina, Elena Toropova, Liudmila Vasilieva. It was a prize-winner at the Festival of Antique Music in Malborg, Poland in 2003; I International Festival of Antique Music “High Renaissance” in Nizhniy Novgorod in 2001; XVIII International Music Festival (FIMU) in France in 2004.
