LP is Evgeny “John” Lebedev (vocal, guitar), Sergey Kharchenko (keys), Andrey “Tyuma” Timofeev (vocal, guitar), Alexander Totsky (bass) and Sergey “Mamaj” Lysenko (percussions). At concerts the group plays “live”. The vocalist Lebedev works as DJ on the radio and in the club “Vagonka”. He says that they were brought up with the music of the 80s: Duran Duran, Alphaville, Camouflage, and what the group does goes to that period of time. That's why the name of the group is LP, it should remind the time of vinyl. Before it had another name – No Man's Land and sent listeners to something Gothic. One of those compositions was included into the collection of Russian Gothic Music. Among the group's achievements are the video “She smiles” broadcasting on music canals; on Moscow radio stations this song is broadcast somewhere between Zemfira and Franz Ferdinand. Is it good or bad...they didn't understand yet...but everything has been changing since then.
