Yevgeny Umansky

Yevgeny Umansky is an artist and a curator of art projects, for example, “Sardines in oil”. He lives and works in Kaliningrad, and goes professionally in for photography since 1986; in the 1990s he pays special attention to different technological methods of creating artworks in his projects. The author is not afraid of experiments and doesn’t want to go old ways. Yevgeny is in a constant search for new forms and methods. Mixed technique, a boundary position between traditional photography and serigraphy, digital working and different technological ways of presenting photo images is a style of the author, which makes him easily recognized among other photo artists.
