Oleg Erschov

Bard Oleg Ershov (24.03.1965-) was born in Kemerovsk region in a geologist family. In 1978 together with his parents he moved to a village in the mountains of Altaysk region. In 1980 Oleg together with his classmates set up a band called «Yugotas» that for three years performed on different stages of Siberia. Then came Army service, marriage, two daughters, and all the while Oleg continued writing and singing songs. At the end of 1990s Oleg moved to Kaliningrad and in 2000 he released a debute CD «Blind night» with further videoclip on TV. In 2003 the singer published a sequel to a famous Russian fairy tale «The Humpbacked Horse» by Pyotr Ershov. Nowadays Oleg lives in Kaliningrad, has his own business, performes all around Russia. He is also a producer of «Splashes of Baltic» band. Oleg was a laureate of «Good Song» festival in 2005 and 2006, jury member of the festival in 2007 and 2008.
