Sergey Alexandrovich Snegov (Schtein Sergey Iosiphovich)

Sergey Alexandrovich Snegov was born in Odessa in 1910. Later he moved to Leningrad, worked as an engineer at the plant “Pirometr”. But the versatile young man began writing and that predetermined his destiny. But it didn’t go off smoothly. If he had a chance to keep silence he did it. When it was impossible, he told the truth. Not willing to lie he chose science fiction. His first novel “People are like Gods” was refused by 4 publishing houses in succession. Nevertheless it was science fiction (later translated into more than 10 languages) that made the author famous beyond the borders of his country.
