The berlinskiy bridge

The building of Palmburg bridge (it is called after Palmburg village, now Pribrezhnoe) was finished in 1935. it was never a drawbridge. We call it the Berlinskiy bridge. The bridge was prepared for an explosion even during the building. The piers of the bridge had special chambers for mines that was estimated on necessary quantity of explosive. The bridge was explode in the 30th of January 1945 when the Red Army reached the fort bell of Koenigsberg and was ready to cross it. One of the lines of the bridge was reconstructed in the 1970s. the complete building of the bridge is necessary now.
