North railway station

The station was constructed in 1930 according to oberburgonister Gans Lomayer initiative. This station intended for railway traffic towards Labium (Polessk), Tilzit (Sovetsk) and Zemland’s health resort zones. In the western part of the station there were a hotel and a restaurant. In the eastern part there were workshops of German eastern railway society, at the middle part of the first floor were disposed booking- offices and shops. After the WWII it was the Inter voyages sailors hall.
