Time of construction: 1870-1875. A former centre of commercial activity of the city. An odd hybrid of the Italian renaissance style and German architechure. It stands on the Pregol river bank and now serves as the Sailor`s House of Culture, with a casino and nightclub called Monetny Dvor (The Mint).
