The Church of Queen Luisa

The 9th September of 1901 is the date when the Church was sanctified. Emperor Wilhelm II the queen Luisa’s great-grandson was there at that date. The church is in Neo-Romance style. The construction of the church continued two years. There was summer residence in the park where the Royal family was lining in 1808-1809, having left Berlin. Queen took part in negotiations about signig the Tilsit’s peace in 1807. The church with high tower was reequipped by Y. Vaganov’s project. Now it is The House of Fairy Tales – The Theater of Puppets.
