Zelenogradsk

The Prussian settlement Kranz has been building up since 1816. It happened because the big quantity of persons who stayed at the resort. There are resorts, hotels and guest houses. At first the city was build just for resort and sightseeing were built in order to be liked by people. As a result it has frivolous and gay look. The first railway Koenigsberg- Kranz promoted the city. Because the number of people who wanted relax became more and more. Even now the federal resort Zelenogradsk has an old street-planning. The intricate fecades of the houses make the walking along the city very interesting.
